We are seeking experienced Box Truck Drivers to transport and assist with the installation of custom fabrication, artwork, and other high-value items.

This is a driving-first role. Candidates should have significant experience operating 16'–26' box trucks in and around the NYC metropolitan area while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service. Art handling experience is a plus but is not required.

In addition to driving, you'll work alongside our installation crews to load, unload, transport, and install delicate, high-value pieces at client locations.

This is an overhire, as-needed W-2 position with weekly outreach to confirm availability. Overnight travel and flexible scheduling are strongly preferred.

• Safely operate 16'–26' box trucks throughout NYC and surrounding areas.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Plan and navigate delivery routes while adapting to changing traffic and site conditions.
• Complete scheduled pickups and deliveries safely and on time.
• Maintain communication with dispatch throughout the workday.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload artwork, exhibits, and custom fabrication.
• Wrap, pack, and protect high-value items for transportation.
• Assist installation crews with moving and installing materials on-site.
• Handle artwork and specialty items with exceptional care and attention to detail.
• Work collaboratively with drivers, installers, and project teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience driving 16'–26' box trucks.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR required).
• Comfortable driving throughout New York City, including congested urban areas, loading docks, and job sites.
• Ability to safely load, secure, and transport large or fragile items.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and overnight travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience handling artwork, museum collections, exhibits, or other high-value items.
• Installation, logistics, moving, or white-glove delivery experience.
